BRAC Bank opens new sub-branch in Rajshahi

BRAC Bank has inaugurated a new sub-branch in the Uposhahar area of Rajshahi city, taking its sub-branch network to 103.
The sub-branch, located at Monowara Max Tower on Dorikhorbona Road, was inaugurated on September 17, 2025, by the bank's managing director and CEO, Tareq Refat Ullah Khan.
Deputy managing director and COO Md Sabbir Hossain, senior zonal head for North AKM Tareq, and senior officials from the bank's distribution network were also present.
The new outlet will offer convenient banking services to both business and individual customers in Rajshahi, a city renowned for its educational institutions and key agricultural products.
As part of the bank's multi-channel strategy, the sub-branch network is designed to offer customers nationwide greater convenience and access to services.
The Rajshahi sub-branch will offer a wide range of services, including account opening, cash transactions, deposit pension schemes, fund transfers via EFTN and RTGS, remittances, utility bill payments, credit cards, student loans, consumer loans, debit cards, chequebook processing, Astha app enrolment, school banking, and savings instruments. All services will be available except foreign exchange.
BRAC Bank's network now includes 294 branches and sub-branches, 330 ATMs, 446 SME unit offices, and 1,121 agent banking outlets, making it one of the largest banking networks in Bangladesh.
