BRAC Bank, GEN Bangladesh host ‘UddogTARA Global Edge 2025’ for women entrepreneurs

BRAC Bank, in collaboration with Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Bangladesh, hosted a two-day internationally standardised masterclass to upskill women entrepreneurs.
Supported by the Gates Foundation, the entrepreneurial masterclass titled 'UddogTARA Global Edge 2025' aimed to enhance the business knowledge and capabilities of women business owners from across Bangladesh, equipping them with global insights and practical tools for sustainable growth.
A total of 65 promising women entrepreneurs from across the country participated in the exclusive learning session held on 29–30 September 2025 at BRAC Bank's head office in Dhaka. K M Hasan Ripon, Managing Director of GEN Bangladesh, and senior officials from BRAC Bank were also present, reinforcing the event's focus on global standards and cross-border learning.
The masterclass, conducted by Mick Walvisch, a renowned business coach from the Netherlands, helped participants define their business purpose and translate it into sustainable growth. Through immersive sessions and practical exercises, participants strengthened their leadership mindset, financial understanding, and strategic thinking to navigate today's competitive business landscape.
Participants gained valuable insights, mentorship, and cross-learning opportunities from both local and international experts, while also building a strong network of aspiring and established women entrepreneurs.
