BRAC Bank appoints new deputy managing director, CHRO
BRAC Bank has appointed Monzula Morshed as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective 1 February 2026.
She will also serve on the bank's management committee.
Monzula Morshed brings more than 25 years of experience as a people and organisational leader across telecommunications, manufacturing, banking, and FMCG sectors. The bank states she is recognised for driving strategic people agendas, leading organisational transformation, and strengthening future-ready capabilities.

Prior to joining BRAC Bank, Monzula Morshed served as Lead Consultant at Second Mountain Consulting, advising organisations across industries on strategic human capital priorities. Earlier, she spent more than a decade as Chief Human Resources Officer at Banglalink Digital Communications Limited and Lafarge Surma Cement Limited. Her career also includes senior leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank in Bangladesh and Thailand, and British American Tobacco Bangladesh.
She holds an MBA and a BBA from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, and has completed executive leadership and advanced HR programmes at INSEAD, London Business School, and the University of Oxford.
