BIFFL holds 14th annual general meeting

Bangladesh Infrastructure Finance Fund Limited (BIFFL) held its 14th Annual General Meeting on 24 July 2025 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka.

The meeting was presided over by Dr Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Chairman of BIFFL and Secretary of the Finance Division under the Ministry of Finance.

During the AGM, shareholders approved the audited financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2024, showcasing BIFFL's robust financial performance. A cash dividend of Tk460 crore was also approved in favour of the Government of Bangladesh, the sole shareholder of the company.

In 2024, BIFFL achieved a significant milestone with total revenue of Tk 4,112.65 million and an after-tax profit of Tk 1,011.32 million, reflecting its strong financial performance and operational efficiency.

The meeting was attended by BIFFL directors and senior officials, including Md Ehsanul Hoque, senior secretary, Road Transport and Highways Division; Md Shahriar Kader Siddiky, secretary, Economic Relations Division; M Saifullah Panna, secretary, Chief Adviser's Office; Mohammad Abdur Rouf, secretary, Bridges Division; Farzana Mamtaz, secretary, Power Division; Hasan Khaled Foisal, additional secretary, Finance Division; and S M Anisuzzaman, chief executive officer of BIFFL.

Representing the shareholder, Syed Rashedul Hossen, Joint Secretary of the Finance Division, also attended the meeting. Md Atikul Islam, FCS, company secretary of BIFFL, along with representatives from statutory auditor Kazi Zahir Khan & Co., were also present.
