Bengal Commercial Bank launches bangla QR code service
Bengal Commercial Bank (BGCB) launched the "Bangla QR Code" service with a pledge to make banking facilities more advanced and more manageable.
From now on, bank clients can make various purchases easily and quickly without cards or cheques using the Bangla QR Code through the Bengal App. Tarik Morshed, managing director and CEO of the bank, inaugurated the technology-driven Bangla QR Code payment service recently at the bank's head office. K. M. Awlad Hossain, Additional Managing Director and CBO; Md Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and CTO; Md. Humayun Kabir, FCS, and Company Secretary were present at the launching programme, along with divisional heads and other high officials of the bank. It is mentioned that the Bangla QR service is entirely free for the clients.
