BAPEX holds thirty fifth annual general meeting

The 35th Annual General Meeting of Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration and Production Company Ltd. (BAPEX) was held on 12 December 2024 at BAPEX office.

The shareholders and members of the company's board of directors participated in the meeting presided over by Mr. Istiaque Ahmad, chairman of the BAPEX Board and ex-secretary of the government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

 The Shareholders approved the company's Audit Report and Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year 2023-2024 at the meeting. During the financial year, the total income and expenditure of the company were Tk. 895.13 crore and Tk. 491.33 crore, respectively. The company's profit after tax was Tk. 273.00 crore.

During the year the company has deposited Tk. 365.56 crore as government revenue to the national treasury.

 In the meeting, the honourable Shareholders and the members of the Board of Directors expressed their satisfaction with the company's overall activities during the period and provided valuable suggestions and guidance on various issues for the better functioning of the company.
