Banglalink earns ISO certification for excellence

Banglalink has become one of Bangladesh's first telecom operators to earn ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, demonstrating leadership in information security management and digital innovation.

This prestigious certification underscores Banglalink's commitment to safeguarding customer data and enhancing operational resilience and cybersecurity excellence. As one of the first telecom operators in Bangladesh to achieve the latest version of this certification, Banglalink has set a benchmark for the industry.

The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard requires organisations to implement, maintain, and continually improve their information security practices. Over the years, Banglalink has developed a robust and reliable security framework designed to mitigate risks, such as unauthorized access to its systems, demonstrating its dedication to delivering secure, high-quality digital services.

As part of the certification process, Banglalink underwent a rigorous audit of its operations, policies, and organisational resilience. The company successfully implemented over 60 operational policies focused on data privacy, cybersecurity, and risk management.

Its 24/7 Network Operations Centre (NOC) and Security Operations Centre (SOC) ensure continuous monitoring and real-time oversight, maintaining a secure, stable, and high-performing network environment. These capabilities reflect Banglalink's operational maturity and alignment with international standards.

The company also maintains a rigorous internal and external audit system to ensure continued compliance and transparency. Employees receive ongoing training in best practices for information security and risk management.
