Bangladeshi entrepreneur joins earth action report programme

Cassetex, a pioneering Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) startup dedicated to sustainable electrification, is proud to announce that its Co-founder and CTO, Gopal Kumar Mohoto, is one of 100 global experts who contributed to the Earth Action Report 2025 by ChangeNOW and KPMG.
The report highlights key systemic priorities for climate action. Mohoto shares insights on making battery technology more affordable, traceable, and environmentally responsible—a mission at the core of Cassetex's innovation in energy storage and battery swapping.
Following his contribution to the report, Mohoto has been invited to speak at the ChangeNOW 2025 conference in Paris this April, where he will present Cassetex's approach to scaling clean energy solutions for electric mobility and micro-energy entrepreneurs. As Bangladesh's first homegrown BaaS startup, Cassetex is leading the transition away from lead-acid batteries in electric three-wheelers through efficient lithium-ion battery swapping networks. The company also enables small business owners—especially women—to become micro-energy entrepreneurs by operating Cassetex battery-swapping stations.
Cassetex's impact-driven approach has gained global recognition, attracting $1.6 million in investment from leading investors, including Infusion Partners Ltd and Waverider International Consulting Co. Ltd., to scale operations in Bangladesh, Nepal, and East Africa. With plans to onboard 50,000 electric vehicles by 2026, Cassetex continues to push the boundaries of clean mobility, energy access, and circular battery solutions that align with the global push for a sustainable, net-zero future.
