Bangladesh tech firms tap new opportunities at DigiTech ASEAN 2025
A Bangladeshi delegation comprising more than a dozen BASIS member companies participated in DigiTech ASEAN Thailand 2025, exploring collaboration and export opportunities in one of Southeast Asia's fastest-growing technology markets.
The annual event, hosted by Thailand's Ministry of Digital Economy & Society and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, was held from 19–21 November 2025 at the IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Centre. This year's edition featured over 350 exhibitors and attracted more than 8,000 visitors.
The Bangladesh delegation was organised and led by Imran Hossen, Managing Director of EyHost Ltd., who has coordinated and headed national participation in multiple editions of the event.
"DigiTech ASEAN is one of the strongest platforms in Southeast Asia for digital business expansion. Our companies actively participated in matchmaking sessions and explored collaboration opportunities," said Imran Hossen.
Discussions during the three-day fair focused on ICT exports to Thailand, AI and cloud partnerships, cybersecurity solutions, joint digital service models and long-term entry pathways into the wider ASEAN market.
Delegates expressed optimism about the prospects for business expansion and future collaboration with Thai and regional partners.
