Bangladesh submarine cables announces 40pc dividend at AGM
Bangladesh Submarine Cables PLC (BSCCPLC) declared a 40% cash dividend for its shareholders for the financial year 2024–25 at its 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held virtually on Sunday.
The meeting was presided over by Abdun Naser Khan, Secretary, Posts and Telecommunications Division, and Chairman of BSCCPLC. Alongside statutory agenda items, shareholders reviewed the company's performance and approved the proposed dividend.
Board members Md Jane Alam, Additional Secretary, Posts and Telecommunications Division; Bidyut Chandra Aich, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Science and Technology; Dr Md Mostafa Akbar, Professor, Department of CSE, BUET; Syed Muhammad Kawser Hossain, Joint Secretary, Finance Division; Colonel AKM Abdur Rahman Ferdous, psc; Md Moniruzzaman, FCA, Independent Director; and Nasrin Fatema Awwal, former FBCCI Director and Independent Director, were present.
