Bangladesh Commerce Bank begins foundation training for probationary officers
Bangladesh Commerce Bank has launched a foundation training course for its 2026 cohort of probationary officers, aimed at equipping them with essential knowledge and skills for their banking careers.
Held at the bank's training institute, the course began on 9 August and will continue until 3 September, according to a press release.
Bangladesh Commerce Bank Board of Directors Chairman Md Ataur Rahman attended the inaugural ceremony as chief guest, while Managing Director Md Obaidul Hoque chaired the event. Invitees included probationary officers of the 2026 cohort.
Md Ataur Rahman said the initiative formed part of the bank's continued commitment to promoting professional excellence through continuous learning and development.
Md Obaidul Hoque said the foundation training would help probationary officers begin their banking careers with the necessary professional knowledge and skills.
The principal of the bank's training institute will conduct the course.
