Alliance Finance backs CRP rehabilitation and skills development projects
Alliance Finance PLC (AFPLC) has partnered with the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) to support ongoing skills development projects for people with disabilities as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
A brief handover ceremony was recently held at CRP's Savar premises, where AFPLC Chief Executive Officer Kanti Kumar Saha presented the contribution to CRP Founder Valerie Ann Taylor.
Since its inception, CRP has worked to ensure the inclusion of people with disabilities in mainstream society. Many individuals with disabilities in Bangladesh lack the financial capacity to pursue income-generating activities, leading to social and economic marginalisation. To address this, CRP provides comprehensive rehabilitation services, donor-funded skills development training and in-kind post-training support to help beneficiaries gain economic independence and rebuild confidence.
The programme was attended by Tasnim Zarin, donor liaison officer; Md Mizanur Rahman, head of finance; and Salim Rahman, deputy general manager of CRP's Rehabilitation Wing. Navila Hasan, deputy manager, brand, communication and corporate affairs at AFPLC, was also present.
