Akij Motors introduces new eco-friendly mobility products
Akij Motors has launched three new sustainable transport products: the "Pothik" electric auto-rickshaw, "Titan" electric motorcycle, and Akij lithium battery, reinforcing its commitment to eco-friendly mobility in Bangladesh.
Sheikh Amin Uddin, Director of Akij Group and CEO of Akij Motors, officially launched the products at the company's Grand Product Launch event.
Ruhul Amin, Executive Director of Akij Express, and Abu Sayed, Brand Adviser at Akij Motors, attended the event along with dealers, business partners, media representatives, and other stakeholders from across the country.

The company states that the newly introduced "Pothik" electric auto-rickshaw is a government-approved urban mobility solution, licensed by the Dhaka North and South city corporations. The Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) has technically tested and certified it.

The "Titan" electric motorcycle targets a new generation of riders, delivering robust performance, modern styling, and a fuel-free riding experience. The company describes it as a smart, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly mobility solution.

According to Akij Motors, the battery delivers a range of over 150 kilometres per full charge and lasts more than seven years, ensuring long-term cost savings and reliable performance.
