Agrani Bank holds business conference in Barishal

Agrani Bank PLC's Barishal Circle has organised a business conference to review the implementation of the 2025 business progress plan and strengthen loan recovery activities. The conference brought together all regional heads, corporate branch heads, and branch managers under the circle. It was held on Friday, 15 August 2025, at the BDS Club in Barishal.

Managing Director and CEO Md Anowarul Islam attended the event as the chief guest. Deputy Managing Director Rubana Parveen, General Manager (Audit) Md Ekhtiar Uddin, and General Manager (Administration) Md Jalal Uddin also addressed the conference. The session was presided over by Barishal Circle General Manager Md Zahid Iqbal.

During his speech, Managing Director and CEO Md Anowarul Islam emphasised the importance of recovering classified loans and provided directives on CMSME loan disbursement, deposit collection, remittance mobilisation, boosting imports and exports, and resolving pending cases. He also instructed all regional and corporate branch heads, along with branch managers, to achieve the targets for all business indicators set for 2025.
