ACI Motors appoints Subrata Ranjan Das as DMD

Subrata Ranjan Das has been appointed as the Deputy Managing Director of ACI Motors, a subsidiary of ACI Limited.

Mr. Das graduated in Agricultural Engineering from Bangladesh Agricultural University in 1993 and began his professional career with BRAC in 1997. In 1999, he joined ACI Crop Care, another subsidiary of ACI Limited, and in 2007, he spearheaded the establishment of ACI Motors.

Under his leadership, ACI Motors has grown into the largest business wing of ACI Limited, representing globally recognised brands such as Yamaha Motorcycles, Sonalika Tractors, Foton, and Yanmar. His efforts secured significant investments for ACI Motors, including funding from FMO, the Dutch development bank, and a $23 million investment from Mitsui, a renowned Japanese company, marking a major milestone for the organisation.

With 26 years of professional experience, Mr. Das has held various leadership roles within ACI, showcasing exceptional expertise and professionalism. Prior to his new appointment, he served as the Executive Director of ACI Motors. Widely recognised as one of the country's leading agricultural engineers and agronomists, he has been instrumental in shaping the company's growth and innovation.
