Aarong launches integrated bKash QR payment system
Aarong has introduced an integrated terminal QR system at its outlets to speed up bKash payments and cut checkout wait times.
A press release said the service was recently inaugurated at the Aarong outlet on Tejgaon-Gulshan Link Road in Dhaka.
Designed for large stores with multiple counters, the system lets each sales point process bKash payments by scanning a Bangla QR code.

It uses Instant Payment Notification technology to identify transactions and notify staff once payments are complete.
Aarong said the system's identification feature would help employees process bills more quickly while protecting customer information.
Aarong Chief Business Officer Tanvir Hossain, Head of Finance and Accounts Nil Ratan Karmakar, and Head of Retail and Customer Experience Liyaqat Husain attended the inauguration as guests.
bKash Chief Commercial Officer Ali Ahmmed, Executive Vice-President and Head of Merchant Payments Faisal Shaheed, Vice-President of Merchant Payments SM Khaled Bin Halim, and General Manager of Merchant Payments Sirajul Mowla were also present as guests.
Senior officials from both organisations also attended the event.
