16th academic council meeting of AAUB

At the onset, the respected Vice-Chancellor expressed his deep gratitude to the Almighty for keeping everyone at the university healthy and allowing them to contribute to advancing higher education and research in the country.
He recalled with profound respect the courageous students and citizens of the July-August Revolution who sacrificed their lives to improve the country's future and welfare. He also prayed to the almighty for the forgiveness of the spirits of the martyrs and the speedy recovery of those injured. He emphasised the need for the educational system to evolve and adapt to the world's rapid technological changes, opening up new spheres. Thus, he added, every decision of the academic council must be well-planned, timely, and accountable to educational excellence. He continued that we can establish an environment where knowledge is free, research is creative, and students can reach their highest potential. He then presented a summary of the activities undertaken since the 15th Academic Council meeting held on 18 November 2024 for the information of all those present.
At the 16th academic council, the Vice Chancellor apprised the committee members about all activities organised by this university, like the team (ABABIL) of AAUB, which qualified for 3rd round CanSat Competition 2025 organised by the American Astronautical Society (AAS), successfully organising the Impulse 1.0 Aerospace Carnival-2024, visit of Chief of Air Staff, Bangladesh Air Force to Dhaka campus, courtesy Call on to Hon'ble Education Advisor and Chairman of UGC, organising 15th Syndicate Meeting, orientation programme of 2024-25 session, Attending ICAO Asia pacific Safety Management Seminar 2025 through webinar, shifting 02 x BAF aircraft and 01 x CAAB aircraft to Lalmonirhat Campus for gaining real-time experience for the student, UGC team's visit to the IQAC Cell of the Lalmonirhat campus, successfully maiden flight of drone invented by AAUB student and the celebration of the 6th Raising Day with great enthusiasm. Later on, the agendas of the 16th Academic Council meeting were discussed at length, and necessary decisions were taken accordingly.
