Govt proposes Tk826cr budget for cultural affairs ministry

The amount is Tk73 crore higher than the allocation in the revised budget in FY 2025-2026.

An allocation amounting to Tk826 crore has been made for the Ministry of Cultural Affairs in the proposed budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year.

Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury placed the national budget in the parliament today (11 June), allocating the amount which is Tk73 crore higher than the allocation in the revised budget in FY 2025-2026.
