Islami Bank to hold AGM on 19 November
The decision came at a board meeting held today, according to a company disclosure

Islami Bank Bangladesh has announced that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 19 November, to be conducted physically, the venue of which will be announced later.
The decision came at a board meeting held today (14 October), according to a company disclosure published on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) website on Monday.
Earlier, at a meeting on 26 August, the bank's board decided not to declare any dividend for the year 2024. The bank also approved its audited financial statements for the year during the meeting.
According to the disclosure, Islami Bank reported a consolidated net profit of Tk108 crore in 2024, an 83% decline compared to the previous year.
The sharp fall in profit was attributed to rising deposit costs and the need for higher provisions against classified investments, as instructed by the Bangladesh Bank.
