Ambassador Ureya noted Kosovo's interest in investing in the pharmaceutical industry in a joint venture with Bangladesh, the release said.

At the time, Ambassador Ureya said, the European Union had offered Kosovo a duty-free market so investing in the country will be positive for Bangladesh after the LDC transition.

During the courtesy call, the FBCCI president said that although some companies have set up factories abroad, the opportunities for Bangladeshi entrepreneurs to invest abroad are still somewhat regulated. The FBCCI is actively working to bring relaxation in this regard.

FBCCI Senior Vice President Mostafa Azad Chowdhury Babu, Vice President Md. Habib Ullah Don and Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Mahfuzul Haque were also present on the occasion
