Zafrullah’s health improves
He is currently being given regular dialysis, moderate antibiotics and specialised physiotherapy, according to a social media post published in the official Facebook page of Gonoshasthaya Kendra on Thursday.

The health of Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury, who is battling coronavirus and pneumonia, is improving. He is also being given a lower volume of oxygen.
He is currently being given regular dialysis, moderate antibiotics and specialised physiotherapy, according to a social media post published in the official Facebook page of Gonoshasthaya Kendra on Thursday.
"He is feeling better than before," said Brig Gen Dr Mamun Mustafi.
Earlier on Tuesday, an online medical board was formed comprising of local and foreign doctors for his treatment as he was infected with coronavirus and severe pneumonia.
Dr Zafrullah, who was also a freedom fighter, underwent coronavirus testing with the kit developed by Gonoshasthaya Kendra which found him to be Covid-19 positive on May 25.
Four days later, a RT-PCR test at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) also found him positive for the virus.
He was given plasma therapy thrice to help strengthen his immune system.
