Besides, 500-600 more people will be vaccinated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Kurmitola General Hospital, Mugda General Hospital, Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Hospital and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital, said the secretary.
The government will start nationwide vaccination programme on 8 February, he further added.
The consignment of 20 lakh doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, gifted by India, arrived at Dhaka Airport by air cargo around 11:20am on Thursday.
