Physician dies of Covid-19
Dr Selim Ahmed, a physician, has died from Covid-19 at a private hospital in Dhaka on Thursday. He, also a freedom fighter, was 70.
Dr Selim lost his battle for life at Samorita Hospital in Dhaka around 3pm, said a press release issued by Bangladesh Medical Association.
He was a life member of the BMA. Besides, he had served the executive committee of the association.

Dr Mustafa Jalal Mohiuddin and Dr Md Ihteshamul Haque Chowdhury, respectively president and secretary of the medical association, expressed deep shock and sorrow at his demise.
They also prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and expressed deep condolence to the bereaved family members.
