LafargeHolcim employees donate one-day salary to aid poor
The money will be spent to help communities living beside the company’s operational sites with the help of people’s representatives and the local administration of those areas
The employees of LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited have donated their one day salary for the month of April in an effort to aid people to face the Covid-19 crisis.
The company has also decided to match the amount generated from the employees' total contribution and spend the entire sum to help the people in need said a press release issued on Tuesday.
The total fund will be spent to stand beside the people near the company's operational sites with the help of local public representatives and the administration, it adds.
