Chaugachha Upazila Health Complex operation theatre closed
The total number of corona positive patients in Chaugachha is now 14
The operation theatre at Chaugachha Upazila Health Complex has been closed after two more doctors including the Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of the hospital tested positive for Covid- 19.
Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, Dr Lutfunnahar, confirmed the matter on Tuesday morning.
Dr Lutfunnahar said, "Samples of five doctors and staff of the hospital, along with a previously infected pregnant woman and another person were sent to the Genome Centre of Jashore University of Science and Technology on Monday. The results showed that the hospital's resident medical officer and another medical officer were positive."

"Moreover, the pregnant woman's result came out negative," she added.
"The hospital's operation theatre has been closed because many doctors and nurses are infected. As a result, a decision will be made after discussing with the higher authorities about where the caesarean section of the pregnant woman will be performed. The delivery date of the woman is May 9," said Dr Lutfunnahar.
The total number of Covid-19 positive patients in Chaugachha is now 14. Among them, there are four doctors and three nurses of the Upazila Health Complex.
