301 US nationals left Dhaka to return to their country by a chartered flight on Wednesday midnight.

An Omni Air International flight carrying the passengers left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:00 am, Somoy TV reported.

Assistant director (public relations) of Civil Aviation Authority Md Sohel Kamruzzaman confirmed the matter.

The flight was scheduled to leave on Tuesday evening. But it could not fly on the due time as there were more passengers than the seat of the aircraft.

Earlier, 154 Turkish nationals and 264 British nationals left Dhaka on Tuesday.

In addition, 328, 322 and 269 US nationals left Dhaka on April 13, April 5 and March 30 respectively.
