GP brings discounts, new services for STAR subscribers during Covid-19

The leading telecom service provider will be collaborating with more brands soon to increase accessibility for customers

Grameenphone has partnered with leading brands of the country to enable easier access to groceries, healthcare and medication for its customers during the Covid-19 pandemic. 

It is now possible for GP STAR subscribers to access various offers from e-commerce sites, according to a press release issued on Thursday.

Healthcare brands participating in the initiative include Praava Health and Athena – a psychiatric treatment and drug rehabilitation centre. Both brands are offering 15 percent discount on video teleconferencing with doctors.

Amar Labis is offering 10 percent discount on pathology tests, including home collection and report delivery, to STAR subscribers. Users will also get 6 percent discount on medicines and protective equipment, along with a 2 percent discount on purchase of non-medical products, from BanglaMeds.

Additionally, Medistorebd.com will give 10 percent discount on medical equipment to GP STAR subscribers.

Grocery and food delivery partners of Grameenphone include Parmeeda, which is offering 15 percent discount and free home delivery on all items.

Shohoz Foods is offering up to Tk100 discount on food orders, while Othoba.com is offering 5 percent discount on grocery, books and multiple brands, along with 10 percent discount on mangoes. Sadeeq Agro is giving free delivery for each order of Tk2,000 or above. 

GP STAR subscribers will be able to receive more detailed information about the discounts on Grameenphone's official web page, under the Star Program tab. 

The leading telecom service provider will be collaborating with more brands soon to increase customer accessibility. 

Non-GP STAR subscribers can visit the GP STAR tab in the MyGP app for instructions on achieving STAR status, including special offers for instant upgrade.

Subscribers can also follow Grameenphone's official Facebook page to stay updated on upcoming offers.
