Habib Bishwas, a rickshaw puller in Narayanganj port, received a cash voucher worth 500 percent of the price of the Walton fridge he had purchased.

After purchasing a refrigerator for Tk 19,500 from the Walton Plaza Bandar branch in Narayanganj earlier this month, Habib Bishwas was awarded cash vouchers worth 500 percent of the regular price.

The 500% cash voucher was officially handed over to Habib at the Walton Plaza Bandar branch on Tuesday.

Local Councilor, Abdul Hannan; Walton Plaza Area Manager in Jatrabai Zone, Maksud Alam; Walton Plaza Manager, Shahel Mahmud and other local stakeholders attended the ceremony.

Habib used his prize vouchers to buy a Walton LED TV, laptop, blender, voltage-stabilizer, water purifier, rechargeable fan, and four smart phones.

Aiming to deliver swift after-sales services through online automation, Bangladeshi multinational electronics brand, Walton, is conducting a nationwide digital campaign.

During the campaign, a customer's contact details, and model number of the purchased products are entered into the company's centralized database, ensuring delivery of prompt after-sales service even if he misplaces the warranty card of his product, and a proper record of customer feedback.

In a bid to incentivize customers' participation in the campaign, Walton has offered cash-back, vouchers, etc.

Walton now manufactures and markets more than 100 models of frost and non-frost refrigerators, freezer units and beverage coolers. Refrigerators being sold include two-door, non-frost model using energy-efficient inverter technology, BSTI-certified, 'Five Star' rating units, as well state-of-the-art, sleek, glass door refrigerators. These refrigerators run efficiently without voltage stabilizers and are in the Tk 10,990-80,900 price range.

Walton is providing one-year replacement guarantee, as well as a 12-year guarantee for the compressors.

Also available are 14 models of Walton's own energy-efficient washing machines, priced between Tk 6,900 and Tk 48,000. The company promises a ten-year guarantee on the motors of their washing machines.

Meanwhile, also available are 13 models of Walton-branded microwave ovens, in the Tk 6,990-19,000 price range.
