KEEP to address lack of reliable online shopping platforms
According to a press release, speakers said despite technological proliferation, consumers of online shopping platforms are falling prey to widespread fraud.

Speakers at an entrepreneurship conference on Friday expressed hope that Khedmath Entrepreneurship & E-commerce Platform (KEEP) will reduce the lack of reliable online shopping platforms in Bangladesh.
The conference was held in the capital's Rampura area.
According to a press release, speakers at the conference said that despite technological proliferation, consumers of online shopping platforms are falling prey to widespread fraud. They are not receiving safe and tested products.
They said Khedmat e-commerce site has become a trusted platform for safe and quality product shopping for people at home and abroad. They are hopeful that the site will be expanded in the near future.
Mazharul Islam Khandaker, chief coordinator, KEEP forum, presided over the conference.
Anwarul Bashar, chairman of Bangladesh Institute of New Initiative (BINI); Prof. Anwarul Bashar, Department of Pharmacy, Noakhali Science and Technology University; Colonel (Retd.) Ashraf Al Din (PSC), adviser at Policy Research Center Bangladesh; Golam Hafeez Md Pavel, deputy general manager, Bangladesh Small & Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC); Md Mahbubur Rahman, assistant secretary, ICT ministry, and many others spoke at the conference.
