Insutech refers to the use of technology innovations designed to squeeze out savings and efficiency from the current insurance industry model.

Although the concept is much familiar at international level, it didn't achieve that much popularity in Bangladesh.

This is being organized to popularize IT in the insurance sector, said the concerned.

Moniruzzaman Khan, head of Digital Business and Brand Communications of Green Delta Insurance Company, said with the participation of experts from both the insurance and IT industries, we aim to unravel the possibilities, challenges, necessary policy reforms and paths to progress on 4 relevant issues related to insutech.

Tauhidur Rashid, Managing Editor if ICE Media, said the insurance industry should come up with innovative ideas right now and insutech will be a great way to ensure that.
