GPH Ispat’s new plant will set an example in Asia: Jamilur Reza Choudhury

After visiting the GPH Ispat's new plant, National Professor and University of Asia Pacific Vice-Chancellor Jamilur Reza Choudhury said that the company's new plant will set an example in Asia. 

Jamilur Reza Choudhury was accompanied by Dr Khan Mahmud Amanat, Dr AFM Saiful Amin, Dr Rakib Ahsan, faculty members of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) and Abul Kalam Azad, vice-chairman of the United Group during his visit to the plant in Sitakunda area of Chattogram on Sunday. 

GPH Ispat Chairman Mohammad Alamgir Kabir and its Additional Managing Director Mohammad Almas Shimul greeted them when they arrived at the plant site.

Alamgir Kabir said, "We took help from Buet experts in the past and we will do the same in the future as well. GPH is going to collaborate with the related departments of the Buet and continue research and product development for the betterment of the country."

"The suggestions of Professor Jamilur Reza Choudhury will guide us in future," he added.

GPH Ispat's Head of Project Dr Engineer Sayeed Sumon gave a presentation about the plant in front of the teachers and answered different questions. 

The company's Adviser Engineer Mohammad Mosharaff Hosen, Adviser Mushfique Saleehin Sadab and Executive Director (Plant) Engineer Madani M Imtiaz Hossain were also present during the presentation.
