ATM Abdul Wahab made Bangladesh Red Crescent society chairman

Major General (retd) ATM Abdul Wahab, a former member of parliament, has been appointed as the chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society

President Abdul Hamid, also the president of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society made the appointment for the next three year, according to the organisation 1973 order.

Freedom Fighter Abdul Wahab was born on 29 December 1946 at Tupipara village of Sreepur upazila of Magura district to a Muslim family. Major General (Retd.) He obtained his secondary from Sreepur MC Pilot Secondary School, higher secondary from Kushtia Government College and post-graduate degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 1967.
