Bangladesh Wheat and Maize Research Institute organized a fair for demonstrating agriculture technologies on 15 March at Dinajpur's Noshipur, as a part of the Ministry of Agriculture's mission to popularize farm mechanization among the people.

The fair is a part of the government's Farm Mechanization Project, worth 3.020 crore, to develop and accelerate the agriculture sector of Bangladesh, says a press release.

ACI Motors, the leading agricultural machinery supplier of the country, displayed the Japanese Yanmar Combine Harvester along with other modern agricultural machinery.

The displayed machinery includes: Japanese rice & wheat cutting, threshing, cleaning, and bagging machine Yanmar Combine Harvester & Yanmar Rice Transplanter.

Yanmar Service Express Van had also been displayed that would provide on the spot service in the Haor and, other areas of the country.

Agriculture Minister Md  Abdur Razzak was present at the fair as the chief guest. Ministry's Senior Secretary Md Mesbahul Islam and Dr Esrail Hossain were present as the special guest.
