10 Pran-RFL companies get productivity award

10 Pran-RFL companies get productivity award

10 companies of Pran-RFL Group received 'National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award' for enhancing productivity and manufacturing quality product. The companies got the award under the large, medium and small industry categories for 2019.

The Industries Ministry has nominated 31 organisations for the year 2019 for this award. Among the awards, PRAN-RFL group grabbed 10 awards, according to a press release on Monday.

Among the large industrial category, Banga Building Materials Limited, RFL Electronics Limited and Rangpur Metal Industries Limited grabbed the all three awards respectively under the steel and engineering sector. Moreover, Natore Agro Limited received the second award for food industry sector, while RFL Plastics Limited and Durable Plastic Limited got first and second awards respectively under the plastic sector.

In medium industry category, Get Well Limited, Banga Plastic International Limited and Packmat Industries Limited received the first prize of steel and engineering, Plastic, and 'others' sector respectively.

Also, Rangpur Foundry Limited received the second prize in small industry category.

Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, Industries Minister, handed over the awards at an event held at a city hotel on Monday. Eleash Mridha, managing director of Pran Group received the award on behalf of Natore Agro and Mohammad Moniruzzaman, executive director of Packmat industries received the award for his company.

Dilip Kumar Sutradhar, managing director at Banga Building Materials, Nur Alam, chief operating officer at RFL Electronics, Mohammad Moniruzzaman, director at Rangpur Metal Industries, Jahangir Alam, executive director at RFL Plastics, Toukirul Islam, executive director at Durable Plastic, Sayed Hossain Chowdhury, chief operating officer at Getwell, Mohammad Kazi Abdul Qiyum, managing director at Banga Plastic International and Afzalur Rahman, chief operating officer at Rangpur Foundry received the award on behalf of their companies.

State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder, Secretary of Industries Ministry KM Ali Azam, among others, were present on the occasion.
