Youth killed in motorcycle crash on Dhaka–Mawa Expressway
Siam had visited the Mawa ferry terminal in Louhajang the previous night and was returning to Bangshal in Dhaka when the crash took place
A youth was killed after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into a road divider on the Dhaka–Mawa Expressway in Munshiganj this morning (8 August).
The accident occurred around 6:30am in the Dhaka-bound lane near Ompara in Sreenagar Upazila.
The deceased was identified as 25-year-old Mohammad Siam, son of Ali Akbar of Hatupara village in Madaripur district.
Dewan Azad Hossain, station officer at Sreenagar Fire Service and Civil Defence said, "Upon receiving the news, a team quickly arrived at the scene, recovered the body and handed it over to the Hashara Highway Police."

Abdul Kader Jilani, officer-in-charge (OC) of the Hashara Highway Police outpost said, "The motorcycle lost control due to excessive speed, hit the road divider and the rider was thrown onto the road, dying on the spot. "
"Both the body and the motorcycle have been kept at the police outpost," he added.
