Two people were killed in a car-motorcycle collision in Bagerhat's Rampal upazila on Friday (10 November).

The collision occurred when a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction collided with a car on the Khulna-Mongla highway in front of Ronsen fish depot, Rampal police station Officer-in-Charge SM Ashraful Alam told The Business Standard.

Motorcyclist Md Razzak, 33, was killed on the spot while Md Harun-Or-Rashid, 35, was declared dead after being taken to Rampal Upazila Health Complex.

The police seized the car but its driver and two passengers ran away, the OC said.

Police are still trying to nab the driver, he added.
