Train resumes on Chattogram-Sylhet route after 2 hours
The carriage of the Chattogram bound Jalalabad Express from Sylhet was derailed around 7 am

Train communication between Chattogram and Sylhet resumed after two hours of suspension following the derailment of a freight carriage of the Jalalabad Express in Brahmanbaria's Akhaura on Friday morning.
Md Khalilur Rahman, station master of Akhaura Railway Station, said the carriage of the Chattogram bound Jalalabad Express from Sylhet was derailed around 7 am. The train communication was halted for salvage operation after the incident.
Md Setafur Rahman, sub-inspector of Akhaura Police Station said the derailment happened because some parts between two bogies of the train were broken.
Nobody was hurt in the accident, he added.
