Trader stabbed to death in Moulvibazar
According to police and locals, the unidentified attackers entered his shop and stabbed him repeatedly before fleeing the scene.

A trader was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants inside his shop on Shamshernagar Road in Moulvibazar town yesterday (7 August) evening.
The deceased was identified as Shah Faizur Rahman Rubel, 45, a resident of the town's Shyamoli in Kulaura upazila. He had long been running a hardware, fabric and grocery business named 'F Rahman Trading' in the Shamshernagar Road area.
Moulvibazar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Gazi Mahbubur Rahman confirmed this.
According to police and locals, the unidentified attackers entered his shop and stabbed him repeatedly before fleeing the scene.
Hearing his screams, local traders and CNG auto-rickshaw drivers rushed to the spot and took him to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital.
Doctors there referred him to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment, but he was declared dead upon arrival at the emergency department.
Police suspect that multiple assailants were involved and that an altercation broke out inside the shop before Rubel was stabbed.
Upon receiving the news, Additional Superintendent of Police Nobel Chakma visited the scene and spoke with nearby traders and eyewitnesses.
"An investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators. CCTV footage from nearby establishments and other evidence are being reviewed," the OC added.
