Touhid, Dar discuss trade, education ties at OIC meet
They discussed enhancing cooperation, with a focus on high-level exchanges, trade, and education
Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain met Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers in Jeddah.
During the meeting, the two leaders expressed satisfaction with the strength and resilience of Pakistan-Bangladesh relations and reviewed the state of bilateral cooperation, according to a statement of Pakistan's foreign ministry.
They discussed ways to enhance collaboration in several areas, with particular emphasis on high-level exchanges, trade expansion, and educational cooperation.
The talks also covered a range of regional and global issues.
