Three coaches of Rangpur Express catch fire

Three compartments, including the power car, of the Rangpur Express train caught fire in Sirajganj's Ullapara at 2:55pm today.
Besides, the engine and six compartments of the train veered off the track, Ullapara Upazila Nirbahi Officer Arifuzzaman told The Business Standard.
At least 25 people were injured in the accident, reports our Sirajganj correspondent.
Five units of the Fire Service rushed to the spot after the accident and managed to bring the fire under control around 3:20pm, said Fire Service's Assistant Director Manjurul Haque.
The accident halted rail communication between Dhaka and the northern districts.
The injured people were taken to Ullapara Health Complex and nearby clinics.

District Administration has formed a 5-member probe committee to investigate the incident and asked it submit report within five working days.
Meanwhile, Railway authorities have also formed a 4-member committee over the accident.
Earlier on Tuesday, 16 people were killed and dozens injured as the Udayan Express and the Turna Nishita Express collided at Mandabhag Railway Station on Dhaka-Sylhet route in Brahmanbaria's Kasba around 3am.
