Tarique Rahman has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Charlie Kirk in Utah, stressing that no one should face violence for their political beliefs.
In a Facebook post today (11 September) he said, "The tragedy of Charlie Kirk's death in Utah has reverberated across the world. That is because no one should face violence when it comes to their political belief and activism in a democratic society. Regardless of an individual's religion, ideology, point of view, someone's life should not be ended in this despicable manner."
