Two merchant ships MV Archagils Grabiel and MV Densa Panther collided at Matarbari outer anchorage due to strong currents on August 23.
Although no casualties were reported in the accident, the two ships suffered extensive damage.
After the incident, Bangladesh Coast Guard ship Shyamal Bangla rushed to the spot and provided required assistance to the two ships.
