Shibir panel defeated only at Jagannath Hall: Abid wins by 1,266 votes
In the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (Ducsu) election, the Shibir panel won the posts of vice president, general secretary, and assistant general secretary (AGS) across all halls but faced a rare defeat at Jagannath Hall, where Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) vice president candidate Md Abidul Islam Khan emerged victorious.
Abidul Islam Khan of the JCD panel emerged victorious at Jagannath Hall, securing 1,276 votes and receiving 5,708 votes overall in the Ducsu election.
Shibir candidates Abu Shadik Kayem (VP), SM Farhad (GS), and Mohiuddin Khan (AGS) received only 10, five, and seven votes, respectively at the Jagannath Hall.
