SAD leader show-caused for threatening NCP leader in Jashore
The Jashore unit of the Students Against Discrimination has issued a show-cause notice to its Joint Convener Shahed Md Rizvi, who threatened to attack Khaled Saifullah Jewel, a member of the central convening committee of the National Citizens Party (NCP).
Jashore SAD Convener Rashed Khan issued the notice today (8 April).
The notice ordered Rizvi to appear in person within two working days and provide an explanation for violating organisational discipline.

Speaking on the matter to The Business Standard, Rizvi said NCP leader Jewel distributed Eid materials in the district with Awami League goons without informing the leaders of the SAD.
"A show cause notice has been issued for speaking out on the charges of misconduct," he said.
The notice states that on 29 March, Rizvi incited another member of the district branch of the SAD to attack NCP leader Jewel and others in a WhatsApp group.
