Rickshaw-pullers withdraw protests
Rampura Police Station's Officer-in-Charge Md Kuddus urged rickshaw-pullers to come out to the streets with their rickshaws

Rickshaw-pullers have withdrawn their protest from some points of Pragati Sarani and Rampura area on Tuesday afternoon.
Rampura Rickshaw Owners Association President Dulal Mia and Bangladesh Krishak Sramik Awami League Secretary General Kazi Md Johirul Kayum told The Business Standard that they are withdrawing the protest as the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has assured them of meeting their demand.
Rampura Police Station's Officer-in-Charge Md Kuddus urged rickshaw-pullers to come out to the streets with their rickshaws as no one would hinder them form plying from now.
Earlier in the morning, rickshaw-pullers blocked several points on important roads on Pragati Sarani causing huge tailbacks on both sides of roads.
