President congratulates Bangladesh cricket team

President Mohammed Shahabuddin today extended heartiest congratulations to the national cricket team of Bangladesh for its historic Test series win against Pakistan.

In a congratulatory message, the President greeted the players, coaches and staff of the national cricket team for their victory.

The visiting Bangladesh team completed a six-wicket win in the second Test in Rawalpindi of Pakistan to complete a 2-0 clean sweep victory in the two-Test series against Pakistan.

The trend of Bangladesh's victory would continue in future, the head of the state hoped.
