Presidency International School holds Sports Competition for Teachers, Staff

The final phase of the month-long teachers-teachers and officers-staff sports competition 2023 at Presidency International School in Panchlaish, Chattogram, concluded with a grand event on Tuesday, 21 November, according to a press release sent from the school authority on Wednesday.

Vice-Principal of Senior School, EUM Intekhab, presided over the event where prizes were distributed among the winners, while the distinguished Rector of Presidency Education, Dr Imam Hassan Reza, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr Reza, in his address, highlighted the significance of sports in maintaining a healthy, strong, and active lifestyle. He emphasised the importance of providing opportunities for healthy entertainment, especially for teachers and officers dedicated to academic pursuits, to rejuvenate their spirits and engage in creative endeavours with renewed vigour.

The Chief Guest's remarks resonated with the audience, underlining the school's commitment to fostering a holistic educational environment that goes beyond academics.

The event was attended by several key figures, including Director CPD Mr Nandan Mitra, Middle School Vice-Principal Mr Mohammad Jasim Uddin, Head of Sports Department Mr Abdul Karim, ECA Coordinator Sakhawat Hussain Regan, and Mohammad Ghiyas Uddin, the organiser of the sports competition. The collective presence of these individuals underscored the school's dedication to promoting extracurricular activities and maintaining a vibrant school community.

Participants showcased their athletic prowess in various sports, creating an atmosphere of healthy competition and camaraderie. The sports competition not only provided a platform for physical activity but also emphasised the importance of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among the teaching and administrative staff.

As the curtains closed on the Teachers and Officers-Staff Sports Competition 2023, the Presidency International School community celebrated not only the winners of the various events but also the spirit of unity and healthy competition that defines the school's ethos.
