Will make absolutely no compromise with July Charter: NCP's Nahid
He emphasised that his party will not compromise “even one percent” on the fundamental reforms and arrangements outlined in the charter.

Though the National Citizen Party (NCP) made concessions with the July Declaration, there will be "absolutely no compromise" with the July Charter, the party's Convener Nahid Islam said today (12 August).
"The government can't leave without fulfilling the promises of the [2024 July-August] mass uprising," he said at a conference at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh in the capital's Farmgate, on the occasion of International Youth Day.
He emphasised that his party will not compromise "even one percent" on the fundamental reforms and arrangements outlined in the charter.
Nahid warned that the era of repeated compromises is over.
"We have reached the final stage — this time there will be no concessions. Without fulfilling the July Charter, no political party can come to power," he added.
Marking one year since the uprising, the NCP leader said the party is reassessing its achievements.
"We are evaluating what we gained over the year, what the youth have received, and what changes the country has experienced. Even after a year of the uprising, we have not yet seen a 'new Bangladesh'."
