Khaleda Zia taken to Evercare Hospital for health checkup
She reached the hospital at 8:20pm

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson and former prime minister Khaleda Zia has been taken to Evercare Hospital in the capital this evening (28 August) for health checkup.
She left for Evercare Hospital in Bashundhara residential area from her Gulshan residence at 7:40pm and reached the hospital at 8:20pm, said BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan.
BNP Secretary General and other leaders and activists were present at the time.
Earlier, Khaleda Zia went to London for advanced treatment on 8 January.
After undergoing treatment at a London clinic for 17 days, Khaleda Zia underwent treatment at her son Tarique Rahman's house on 25 January under the supervision of London Clinic's specialist doctors Professor Patrick Kennedy and Professor Jennifer Cross.
Khaleda Zia returned to the country on May 6 after undergoing advanced treatment in London, UK. After arriving in Dhaka, a medical board under the supervision of Evercare Hospital's specialist doctor Professor Shahabuddin Talukder provided her with medical services at her home.
Khaleda Zia, 80, has been suffering from various physical ailments for long.
