Khaleda Zia’s condition stable, says personal physician
She has been suffering from various physical ailments for long

BNP Chairperson and former prime minister Khaleda Zia's health condition is physically stable, her personal physician Dr AZM Zahid Hossain said yesterday (28 August).
He informed that Khaleda Zia was taken to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka for a routine checkup on the advice of the medical board. After completing several tests, she was discharged and returned to her Gulshan residence after 11:30pm.
"She underwent her scheduled tests at the hospital and later returned home on the advice of the medical board. Her condition is stable. Khaleda Zia has also sought prayers from the people for her recovery," Dr Zahid said.
Earlier, she left for Evercare Hospital in Bashundhara residential area from her Gulshan residence and reached the hospital at 8:20pm.
BNP Secretary General and other leaders and activists were present at the hospital.
Khaleda Zia, 80, has been suffering from various physical ailments for long.
