Jamaat ameer’s nomination papers filed for Dhaka-15
The nomination papers for the Jamaat chief were collected on Thursday (25 December).
The nomination papers of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman were submitted today (29 December) for the Dhaka-15 constituency, the final day for filing nominations.
On behalf of the Jamaat chief, a delegation led by Jamaat-e-Islami Assistant Secretary General Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair submitted the nomination papers to Returning Officer Md Younus Ali at the Electoral Training Institute (ETI) in Agargaon.
The nomination papers for the Jamaat chief were collected on Thursday (25 December).
Speaking to reporters after the submission, Zubair said, "Today, on the last day of nomination submission, we have filed the papers on behalf of our ameer. We hope for a fair, beautiful, and acceptable election that the people can embrace."
